The reason we chose this blog website is because a few of us have used it before and liked it. It is nice and simple with lots of possibilities in enhancing the page so it looks like our website. With a click of your mouse you can edit the template of the blog to make it look like how you imagine it in your head. It is very simple to use and any person from beginner to advance computer users can use this website and maintain it making it look professional. In addition, it is quite easy to upload pictures with the blog and chose what size you want them to be and what position for example if you want the picture centred, to the right of your blog or to the left of your blog. Also, to get the colour of the background of the blog to match the background of the website was very straightforward and with the amount of options you have you can make it just right and get the exact duplicate. This also goes for getting the font to match the one of the website, you just simply have to choose the one you used and apply it to your blogging page. This blogging website is very clear-cut and being beginners at computers we found it very relaxing to use and we did not run into any problems when making this blog.

Never Give Up

Most people think that modelling is easy but that is not the case. One most always be prepare to do whatever the photographer wants of you at the drop of a hat. You must be prepared to smile, cry, yell, be mad, laugh, etc at any given point. This is not an easy task to achieve as any model will tell you but to become great you must overcome the difficulties of changing emotions at any given moment. Furthermore another complicated aspect of being a model is the props that you are expected to use and sell. Some props are ludicrous to model with such as using a camel that likes to spit and won’t stop moving, a baby that won’t stop crying, or things that you might be scared of such as birds or clowns. A model must always keep posing with distractions surrounding them, difficult props and in the meantime still manage to take amazing photographs that the audience would love to look at. Moreover, the most challenging thing about being a model is all the criticisms that surround it and you being a model have to take the criticisms to become better but not let it get to you. If you cannot let the criticisms bother you and improve and make yourself better you will become a supermodel and one day be at the top of the modelling world.

Seemingly Different

When there are horses participating in a competition, it reminds me a little of modelling. For example, the Lipizzaner horses are the most famous breed for doing a competition called dressage. The dressage competition includes, highly controlled stylized jumps and other movements known as the "airs above the ground". When a horse is commanded to do movements such as the levade or courbette it is striving for the perfection of the pose similar to what a model does. Moreover, horses get various hairstyles done to enhance their looks and performance, just like models do before a photo shoot. Horses get their manes and tails braided in many different ways. Also, horses wear various accessories such as ribbons through their braids, battle armour, or decorated saddles for many types of occasions and competitions. This all reminds me of modelling because of how they try to perform the perfect and flawless "pose" in different backgrounds and areas along with their given accessories. It is interesting how two seemingly different things, in this case models and performing horses, can actually be very similar.

Two Interests Into One

As horses and fashion come together, so do two very similar yet contradictory professions. These complex and difficult realms are racked with constant training and preparation. For horses its training them into athletes that move gracefully and execute the task at hand with efficiency and ease. Whether it be dressage, jumping, polo, etc. a horse is the model to complete the course at hand. For model's it's finely tuning their body into a work of art and creating an image and emotion with whatever scene they are placed in. So just like horses, models must assess the scene and adjust to compliment it and create a thing of art. When a horse and a model are combined an image of complete elegance and beauty emerges leaving the viewer to revel in the majesty of pure perfection.
